Team Hawkes have big plans for Group 1 performer Rageese this time and the talented three-year-old has opened as and maintained status as outright $2.80 favourite in 2015 Rosebud betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au.

Rageese debuted to racing for a luckless sixth in the TAB.com.au Plate (1100m) on November 29th, but responded well upon resuming this year for a close second in the Group 2 Pago Pago Stakes (1200m) on March 14th.

Having returned to the paddock after finishing a close second to Pride Of Dubai in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) on April 6th, Rageese is sure to be given a gem of a ride by Tommy Berry and will leave from barrier 5.

Sebring Sun has interestingly received the greatest market share of wagers for success in 2015 Rosebud markets; cutting in from a quote of $4.40 to current rest as outright $4 second favourite and market mover.

Stamping his claims as one to watch when second amongst notable company on debut in October, Sebring Sun returned this year for third in the TAB Place Multi Plate (1000m) at Randwick on January 24th.

Placing a credible fifth in each of the Listed Lonhro Plate (1100m) and Group 2 Skyline Stakes (1200m) on February 28th, the Sebring colt will carry winning form into Saturday’s Randwick races after taking out a Canterbury minor over 1200m first-up a fortnight ago.

Vanbrugh has interestingly drifted from a quote of $5.50 but remains sole occupant of the third line of 2015 Rosebud betting at current $6 odds.

Vanbrugh debuted to racing for success in a Randwick sprint over 1200m in February and returned to the paddock following a credible transition to black type racing for fifth in the Pago Pago Stakes.

Returning July for second in the McGrath Estate Agents 2.y.o Handicap (1200m) on July 4th, the Encosta De Lago colt placed fourth in a Canterbury 1250m sprint on July 25th and appears primed for a competitive run in the Rosebud.

Let’s Make It Rain carries winning form into the 2015 Rosebud and offers great value for money at current $7 odds, while country horse Can Be Bossy ($61) will have his first city start in the Rosebud and may be capable of a big performance.
